Frank Reid cup semi final & B&D double header
Walney 'A' 22 v Hindpool 'A' 18 (Ht 18-10)

Walney raced into an 18-4 lead but all credit to Hindpool for coming back to level it 18-18 midway through the second half, both sides had chances to win but it was Walney who scored with about 5 mins left on the clock.

Gotta say we are pretty gutted about the manner in which we lost. The try that was disallowed after already being given was a shocker. Not saying that Steve cheated but he should not be put in the position where he officiates a Walney game when his son is playing, his wife is secretary and he represents Walney at league meetings.

For what its worth a couple of Walney lads said it was never a forward pass.
