Robert Plant night tonight from 10:15 on BBC2.
If you like the unrocked side of zepp, if you like your music a litlle blues and a little country and if you just like good music then tonight enjoy a treat.
If you missed last Friday's Electric Proms concert on R2 then you missed a musical gem, tonight after a couple of other Plant progs the concert is on BBC2
Watch and love.
I would recommend it to Zep haters especially, this aint what you expect.

I quite liked the original band of joy at the time.
I watched an interview with plant on TV last night and enjoyed it: he seems an interesting guy. There was a bit of footage of the new band of joy and I think you uare probably right.
I've got the Plant/Krause album.

I caught the back end of the compilation of his appearances on Later. I really enjoyed it except for the song at the end with Alison Krauss, which I found utterly dismal.
Plant is a really engaging character, always comes across well in interview.

Strange that Zep shunned the media when they had such an articulate front man.
Though it may have been more to do with maintaining the image than anything else.

Plant did suffer a very serious ankle injury, though I don't recall him winning any wars or being in an airport when something nearly happened somewhere else.

But how bad was his 80's stuff!
With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Speaking of Zep-related stuff, I can recommend this documentary:

Well worth a watch.

Just watched the Roundhouse gig for the 3rd time and the extra bits on the red button.
I've never been a major Led Zep fan, but I found it excellent. Country music ain't my gig, but you have to admire the musicianship.
A few lecherous looks towards Patti Griffin but who wouldn't? Excellent vocals from her as well. The perfect anti-dote to all things X Factor.
