Saturday 4th December sees the staging of the First Test Match between England Academy and the Australian Schoolboys (ASSRL). The match is taking place at Craven Park with a 2pm kick-off time. Admission for all is just £3. The England team has several players who have already made their debut's in Super League. Most great Australian players have represented the Aussie Schoolboys at the start of their careers with many of this years' tourists already primed for the NRL.

Please download/distribute the poster, spread the word and assist in getting a bumper crowd to watch some of the sports greatest talent from both hemispheres.

It's also a great opportunity to show that this area has a real hunger for the sport at its' highest level.

The poster has been approved for use by the RFL.

Their website must be wrong.

Admission for this match is just £3. Let's really push this game and get a cracking crowd to cheer on England. It's not very often that Craven Park has hosted a full international, so it promises to be a bit of an historic day.

What a shame, looking fwd to it!
Any reason its at Leigh?
Surely their pitch is as vunerable as ours to freezing in fact with them being 'inland' it should be worse.

Although it's worth mentioning the undersoil heating didn't prevent our friendly with Salford being called off last year because the approaches to the stadium were unsafe because of ice etc. Can see all the stops being pulled out to avoid this one suffering a similar fate though, hence being moved to a ground with undersoil heating.

Before Ryan Shaw as any other lads from the area played at this level and against the Australian schools? Can we beat them? They seem to tour undefeated whenever they come.
