I was hoping for another large, if not larger attendance for this one, but I think people will be put off by the entrance fee.

I agree 100%, I can't understand why they have to put on a supper, I know this may sound stupid but it should be optional. I think if you just said "£3 for a supper is available" then most people would pay it. It is not good you have to pay it just to get in.

I also thought it would've been better to have it at a place with parking, maybe the labour club in Swinton with the car paring now free.

The entrance fee doesn't bother me especially if some of it goes towards the Agecroft fund. What does bother me is the size of the room, I have done discos there for weddings and birthdays and you will be lucky if you can get 100 people in and that would be standing shoulder to shoulder If there is anybody from the club reading this thread I would seriously look at finding an alternative otherwise if the same number turns up that attended Moorside club Ican see a lot of supporters not getting in.

Sadly I think you will find the Labour club has closed for good.

It is a tough call which ever venue they use.Opt for a larger room and you can bet they will struggle with numbers, opt for the size of Clifton and you can bet they will be well attended.Sod's law i think it is called.

I think the evening could be made even more appealing if we were to have Steve McCormack formally annoucing the squad numbers and either the shirt sponsor or Steve himself presenting each squad member with his shirt. And as a special treat perhaps we could have two female models in the new shirts or even better these could be nude and have the shirts painted on.Think of the publicity! now that would be worth the £3 entrance fee.

Is this the point when you reveal your hidden talent for painting? Might bring a whole new angle on "Blue Monkey". Oh dear.
Rugby League - great game, shame about the administration.

Better get used to your mail arriving at ridiculous times Alan! its the result of Royal Mails new delivery system which was implemented at the start of last week.We now start much later and finish later which means deliveries are later! indeed some of my colleagues were out till 630pm one day.Of course if you would prefer a guaranteed early delivery you could always pay....and its not cheap. All in the name of progress and modernisation.
