Predictions for the future -
Crusaders RL to get a franchise for 2012 onwards -WRONG
Widnes Vikings also to get a franchise - RIGHT
Crusaders RL to do the double over Widnes and finish five places ahead of them -WRONG
Widnes Vikings NOT to dominate rugby league in years to come! STILL TO COME

I promise to pay 10 to the charity of Bomb Jacks choice if Widnes Millionaires finish above the battling underdogs Crusaders RL. I OWE A TENNER!

Nice to Cougars and Cov step up but sad to lose Liverpool and Carlisle.
I'm guessing that Gateshead Lightning are Newcastle Stom.

Gatesheads Reserves they are apparently, can't see them being that strong as the first team have never been up to much. Valley Cougars in my opinion will be a good outfit and now they are linking up with Scorpions will make them a tough team to go and visit.
Have Bramley and Huddersfield appointed new coaches yet?
How do you think Coventry will go? They have won the competition before haven't they?

Sure i read Richard is staying on now, could be wrong
A lot of Yorkshiremen believe that when God created the world, he made it with perfect balance.
He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.

Depends who we get out I guess but very hard to predict this year as the gap between top and (2nd) bottom is a lot closer than when we were last in.

If the team is anything like the one that played the RLC National Premier final against St Albans, I'd be worried for you. Will you be getting the blokes who have been turning out for Hemel back ?

I think so, don't know the full line up yet plus more fringe players from the RU club.
We had a very good side on occasions last year but lack of consistency was our problem. We won't be the weakest side and St Albans would do very well in it.

Depends if it is or not. It depends if teams turn up to matches and at the end of the day one good year can't save the league now. I was positive about the league in 2007 and 2008 when things weren't bad (Cottingham aside in the former), and of course 2004 (2003 I lived in Guernsey so knew little of it). Likewise last year the top 8 were good but 2 dropouts was poor

I have heard a whisper that Gateshead Lightning might have decided to pull out of this competition! Can anyone shed any light on this?
