A long long time ago 1973 -- when the Parkside based club was sold off a large sum (in those days) was set aside to be used for the development of rugby in South Leeds. I don't know if this money was used or is still in a dormant bank account.
Perhaps the people who may know are Harry Jepson, or David Adams (Hunslets Financial Director when they were reformed), or perhaps any of the office staff from that time. Might be worth trying to find out if anybody knows anything.
