ive been watching a couple of DVDs of matches from the early 80s with the likes of Howard Burns,Colin Falcon,Kevin Gartland and John Lightfoot playing and i cant help thinking that i liked watching the game then than now, contested scrums although messy at times were better, the game was a lot tougher also, with the ref only getting involved when he really needed to be instead of today when some times refs think weve paid our coin to watch them..another thing i liked was watching the likes of Tony Roper who had bundles of pace and a lot of skill also a thing which a lot of wingers dont have these days...another thing was the condition of the pitch which was in better knick in winter than in todays summer matches where when it rains it holds water something awful ahhh the good old days...
go **** yasell ya little **** gain NL1 then take ya **** out ya dads **** then speak proper rugby talk. you jameating little spotty ****...itchy waa waa 2008...
