It has been reported on the Barrow forum that James Finch has been banned for 5 months by the UK Anti doping agency for use of the banned substance ephedrine.

Finch claimed that he had been taking the Chinese herb MaHuang which is a source of the stimulant ephedrine.

His ban lasts from 5th September 2010 until 5th February 2011.

i dont think he was ever going to play for town again anyhow.but its a shame as he was a talented player,who we didnt get the best out of.

Talk about lazy journalism, my post above is almost word for word in today's N & S. Why don't they get out and about and look for stories instead of trawling forums?
