As i'm new to this site i'd like to apologies if this has been brought up previously but i'm jus looking to start a topic to see what people think!

To my knowledge there are 3 clubs that have the facilities to hold evening matches under flood lights! Askam, Dalton and Hindpool? I personally think that because of this we should seriously think of making more evening matches or even look at making the B&D league matches of a friday evening! or something similar!
Since the start of the season we (Roose) have played two flood lit matches, on both occasions we have been able to field a team and have had a healthy turn out of spectators for home and away sides!

Although Saturdays are traditional, with First team commitments etc i think that A team teams and matches take a beating, lack of players, poor supporter turn outs etc... but also A team players get to miss there first team games and also the 1st team coach doesn't get to view the possible talent on display in the A team..

there are lots more points for this but obviously i'd like to hear both pro's and cons...

Anyone got any other views?

I quite like the idea Ade but im not sure its viable. Daltons lights arent suitable for playing games under and I cant see Millom wanting to play every game at either Hindpool or Askam on a week night.
Raising an A team seems to go round in cycles, at some point during the last 10 years a number of teams have had at least 1 season where they have struggled to raise a side.
Last season we were getting 6 and 7 for our A team and the first team hardly ever took 17 away but this year we have had 17 travel every week and 20 is the lowest we have had turn up for the A team.
