Is your new ground anywhere near Rainhill railway station? With Eccles playing last night I am free today. I would normally watch Eccles 'A' team but I have not had a drink with my Leeds supporting, good beer guide packing, fellow ground hopping anorak - Paul Hudson for a year and he is planning to watch Thatto Today. Asked me to meet him in the Commercial near Rainhill station at 11.45 am.

It's not to far away probably about 5mins in a taxi or a 15-20min walk

Can't remember what it was now but they had a great guest ale. They also had Speckled Hen but I drink that quite often in Treorchy. There was a free shuttle bus to a beer festival at Prescot so we had an hour there. Did my mate leave a bag containing some programmes in the bar at Thatto. He is sick that he has lost them so I would like to get them back for him. The bag contained 2 Thatto programmes, 2 Eccles, 1 Milford and 1 Stanningley?

Seems he lost his phone as well, if anybody has found it. He doesn't remember anything from leaving the beer festival in Prescot to getting back to Leeds, and he reckons I should carry a government health warning! I did offer to put him up in Eccles, but he knew I was staying out for the duration.

I asked the steward behind the bar when I was up at training and he said they hand't found anything. So unfortunately if they were left in the club they're not there anymore. Sorry!
