So as the pro season comes to a close, and although we will support the amateur game every weekend...many will be here much less until Feb
I had a nice pint in the Head of Steam yesterday with my son over from Leigh.....not been drinking much this year, but that was nice, and the food was very good too
nuts on the bar, crisps available...anyone join me in a farewell to this season?

I deserve a nice bottle of australian cab sav or shiraz.
It's been a good week on most fronts. I've achieved a fair bit. The homestead is a happy one at the minute. Although people might start to get wound up as from tomorrow when the plumber comes to put ina new boiler, and there's chaos and no hot water.

A lot of Yorkshiremen believe that when God created the world, he made it with perfect balance.
He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.

Nope she's got till next saturday to get her act together then its being evicted (hopefully taking into consideration the NCL kick off times!) and she wasn't, she went wild on a Lucozade sport and was some what frosty to the idea of going back for a post match pint!
Where you over in Hull yesterday? Have fun?

Season in full flow over here amh!
If anyone can swing the time / cost I would recommend AS Carcassonne this season. Binned their coaching staff last time round cos the style of play was too boring. Employed Luc Mendes as coach, and he has the team playing a proper, French, throw the ball around game of rugby league. Great to watch. Don't always win, but great stuff.
And I am enjoying tonight a good bit of a box of Ornaisons Corbieres.
Cheers! Chin chin! Sante!

None whatsoever
I have it narrowed down to two dogs (from right the other end of the village and all). I'm going to scare the bejaysus out of the pair of them next time I see 'em. And stop going out in flip flops....

It'll be hear in a flash, and you can take in some National Conference games to feed the bug in the meantime, our (Wigan) first game after Millennium Magic is an away trip to my favorite winter ground if the rumours are to be believed.

I had a night out in Oldham last night. I've seen what drink does to people. The bar is shut in my house tonight.
