Congratulations,-- a far more professional job from when it first started, I like the photo of the stand scene taken at last seasons Workington game.
My only suggestion would be a bit more informal news. The Fans Forum sometimes gives us news and views that we don't get anywhere else. There are some good postings on it, and some rubbish ones (mostly from me).-- I learn't from it that Richard Knight had left the club and joined the coaching staff at Huddersfield, and from reading the Rochdale forum that Robbo had officially retired from the game. These may have been reported in the local press but a lot of us gave up on that years ago.
I would like to see in depth articles, together with a photo, of the players eg Who's Who at Hunslet, probably changing every two weeks where the players can give details of their background, and thoughts on Hunslet and Rugby League. (like the old style Player Profiles that used to appear in the match day programmes.) -- coupled with this could be a similar feature on "Supporter of the Month" where supporters could be featured giving details of why they support Hunslet, favourite players, and polite suggestions.
Having written the club programme (often single handed) from our days at the Greyhound Stadium through to our Elland Road days I know how hard it is, but in those days there was no computers, e-mails, and such to make life easier.

It looking good !!

I like the front page - it shows everyone !!

I'm sure we can all identify ourselves but it gets the message that the club is about the people around it!!

Well done guys

Maybe update club contacts/officials now ??

It didn't identify me though Simon. I was stuck on the scaffolding with the SKY people at the far side of the ground.--- plus for any future developement plans for that side on the few days that the sun shines in South Leeds you are looking straight into it.-- note --very poor for viewing over there.
Thanks again to Ian Johnson for walking round with a coffee for me at half time.

The club shop on-line is a bit pants to be honest, I don't want to buy a pair of socks or out of date car stickers rolleyes.gif Surely with Christmas coming it would be advisable to actually stock some things people want?

Website is looking pretty good. Good to see squad numbers announce & not to have players in wrong positions.

One suggestion i have is to maybe look at having a history page where it covers player stats (app,Tries, Pts etc) & tables dating back as far as posible. Not sure if the club has these details however i think i may know someone who has, so will look at possibility of putting it on a spreadsheet and supplying it to the club.

Steve Calline did a full history, match by match, and stats from 1883 which he published and gave to the club at SLS.
From this I published a season by season history of the club when I was editing the club programme in our days at Batley, and early Elland Road days.
Just like to add because I've had a go at Big Al about this the stats I keep match by match also up dates the full playing record of a player, but only the current season are put on the website.

I agree.

It would great to be able to look back at all historic players who have played for the club and be reminded of what their records were. You could spend hours mulling over old programmes when this info was available however we never get to see this now.

By the way, is there any chance that an old players evening could be arranged in the Phoenix Bar that would be open to anyone who has played for Hunslet and would be a great chance to see our boyhood heroes again. It would be a great annual event that fans could attend and we could maybe hire the Council bar as well for this. Perhaps the Trust could get involved?

Read the previous postings Penola.
Re your "old" players idea-- myself and Ian Johnson tried it about 5 years ago with the result that 4 players turned up, and we were left ( the club) about £100 out of pocket for the buffet.
Needs proper organising and it might work -- at that time myself and Ian were doing EVERYTHING.

Wasn't sure if they were stored on a computer but sounds like its been done already which is great.

Like penola says it would be good to have something that you could just click on any year and look at stats from that year.
