I like to listen t' radio when i cook and as i go to bed and i'm getting bored of 6 music, XFM and Talksport!
What's 5 live like? Will i be infuriated by constant references to Inverdale or pleasantly surprised?

5Live's ok, the drive time show is quite good. Just avoid the breakfast show or you'll be subjected to that pompous tw@ Nicky Campbell.

Am I the only one who can't stand the drive time show. I listen to a fair bit of R5 but Peter whathisname does my #### in. The afternoon slot previously presented by Simon Mayo now by Rivhard Bacon is by far the best.

Peter Allen is an essential part of Drive, as he represents the views of a certain section oft the listeners.
However, he may not be there for much longer as he refuses, I undestand, to move to Media City
Radio Five Live contains an antidote to the irritant oleaginous inverdale in the form of George Riley

I like Peter Allen especially when he is grumpy.
With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Peter Allen has a remarkably intelligent sounding voice. He is not particularly bright, but his voice makes it hard to believe.

That's just the kind of thing he would wet himself laughing at on air if it was texted in.
It's okay is 5Live. Although Victoria Darbyshire, and Campbell are the pits. If you can avoid their bits and also Ian Robertson, and Garry Richardson then it's okay.
I mix it upt with with Radio 1, and Radio 4 and my Ipod.

Nope - I'm the same
5 live for me is OK but nothing gets me giddy about it anymnore
Radio 2 for me - Simon Mayo show is very good
Now then, it's a race between Sandie....and Fairburn....and the little man is in........yeees he's in.
I, just like those Castleford supporters felt that the ball should have gone to David Plange but he put the bit betwen his teeth...and it was a try
Kevin Ward - best player I have ever seen

The real Mick Gledhill is what you see on here, a Bradford fan ........, but deep down knows that Bradford are just not good enough to challenge the likes of Leeds & St Helens.

The Danny Baker Show (currently with Suggs) and Fighting Talk on Saturday mornings is always a good listen.

You've got to be joking. He's a cross between a vicar and a Blue Peter presenter ... a latter-day Noel Edmonds.
I bet the nearest he's ever got to sex, drugs and rock'n'roll is having an aspirin with his coffee after getting a headache watching a Soiuxsie video.
It really irks me to think they chose him for the drivetime show when they could have fetched back Johnny Walker to return it to its glory days.
When Mayo came, I left for Radio Leeds but, unfortunately, the excellent Steve Bailey has left there for pastures new.
It's CD's in the car at teatime now.

With digital radio, I am listening more and more to the World Service. There's some good stuff on there.
"Journalists are meant to be neutral, for God's sake." - Stephen 'Wiggy' Jones
"Perhaps it would be better that future criticism of sports be made on the narrow basis of what is being discussed, without reference to other sports, unless those sports offer a solution to the problem in hand." - Brian 'Pigface' Moore
"What happens in rugby union? A player takes the ball, moves forward a little and gets tackled. A whole load of players then roll about on the ground. Pheep! The referee gives a penalty." - Simon Barnes

I'm listening to 5 Live less and less these days, Radio 4 during the day and Radio 7 at bedtime for a laugh. Also listening to the World Service occasionally too.

Radio 5 Live always seems to have ordinary people calling in with their opinions. It does my nut in.
Do not fear; only BELIEVE

Not just ordinary people; there are plenty of spinny-eyed, frothy-lipped nutjobs calling in too.
On the upside, Inverdolt appears far less on Radio 5 than he used to. He no longer has his daily programme, so as long as you take care to avoid Nicky Campbell in the morning, then Victoria Derbyshire's phone-in (populated mainly by grief athletes, closet racists and cretins), the worst you can expect is shouty wannabe shock-jock Stephen Nolan.
Oh, and Richard Bacon, who appears to be morphing into a young Alan Partridge.
And Gabby Logan.
And Alan Green, the Football commentator and presenter who, from the evidence, doen't actually like Football.
