If you mean more explicit, there are a number of projects that the Trust has supported running right through the game from amateur to pro level. They are also hoping to work with the club on a ground development fund together with the club. The Trust is also a non-profit organisation.

However, if you mean explicate, I have no idea what that is.

The Trust produce audited accounts every year for the AGM and the scrutiny of its members. No penalties for late submission for us, and nothing to hide.

Although you clearly do have rocks in your head I'll try and make it simple for you: The Trust raises money throughout the year and utilises that money to support rugby initiatives throughout Oldham and at all levels (amateur, youth and professional). By far the largest beneficiary from this has been the professional club (around £10,000, give or take, for reserve sponsorships split over 2 years) but that is only natural as they also have the greatest costs and are the largest focus of support in the town. Hopefully in the future that support will move onto ground development as a decent stadium for rugby at all levels is what we all want.

Nobody on the board takes money out, and indeed most board members contribute extra, either in time and skills or financially, above and beyond what could be expected. All the money raised by the Trust is either invested directly into activities relating to RL in Oldham or used to help further fundraising efforts and promotion of the Trust thus (hopefully) increasing the monies at our disposal for future support of Rugby League at all levels in Oldham.

As an elected Board member of Rugby Oldham Supporters Trust the following information might be useful. The accounts of Rugby Oldham are drawn up to 31st December each year. The accounts are audited by a local firm of accountants. The accounts are inspected by our parent body, Supporters Direct. The accounts are then submitted to the Financial Services Authority for approval. The approved accounts are presented to the membership at the AGM in May.
Anyone who is a member of Rugby Oldham will be aware of this procedure and in receipt of all relevant information. I would urge Rocks In The Head to join up and do his/her bit to support professional, amateur and junior rugby in the town and to receive our newsletters which will keep him/her informed of ongoing activity.
As is my custom I post all information relating directly to Rugby Oldham under my own name so I can be held to account.

Nice bit of mischief making Rocks. I think we'd all like to have similar transparency from ORLFC. Please enlighten us since you've raised the issue.

I'm pleasantly surprised, Rocks. You can download a membership application form from Rugby Oldham's website at www.rugbyoldham.org
The website is a bit out of date but we have got someone working on getting it up to date shortly.
