Thats not only the NCL games.
It starts at under 8s and goes right through all age groups.

Never seen a Hull derby, apart from in a BARLA final, but that is the most passionate RL City so I imagine one of theirs would take some beating. Biggest crowd I ever saw at a local derby would be Redhill .v. Lock Lane.

The oldest has got to be Leigh Miners .v. Wigan St. Patricks.
I've mentioned this before on a similar thread, Wath Brow, Millom and possibly Egremont as well, withdrew from the RFU in 1898 and competed in the Cumberland competition under the Northern Union ( precursor to the RL). They will have played each other before this but that would have been in the union game.
Brow still play Millom in pre season friendlies every year, alternating the venue, and this game always pulls in one of the biggest gates of the year. Don't know whether "FRIENDLY" is the most accurate description of what happens on the field but the crack in the clubhouse(s) after the game is second to none!

Pats closest rivals are Rose Bridge this rivalry goes back at least 70yrs probably longer at some levels i.e. schools, although competetive games at 1st team level have been relatively scarce during the conference era.

Pats position not great at present but still only 4 points short of a number of clubs, don't write us off yet.

It's a tight league not much between top + bottom a good run could see us climb to halfway, that said i would prefer to be sat at the top looking down rather than where we are.

By the way, St. Pats position looks a lot better after yesterdays result at East Hull. Well done Pats.

Lets leave queens out of this debate ,cos as everyone knows they are a disgrace to arl,and contribute nothing to the game.

I understand it a Conference forum, but to say that the REIGNING NATIONAL CUP HOLDERS bring nothing to the game is a bit pathetic!!!
