You could now turn your old tin bath into a nice garden feature. It will be a toilet inside the house next. biggrin.gif

Good job you went into details mate.

A thread briefly stating you were delighted to get rid of your old boiler might have really got you in hot water.

So to speak.

I moved house last year from a 150 year-old stone terraced cottage in which I'd put a combi boiler to a new 'Barratt box' with a hot water storage-type tank system. I'd take the simplicity, convenience and immediacy of the combi boiler over the system I have now any day.

[gripe] I thought my days of 'putting the water on' were long gone. We get about a shower and a half out of the cruddy tank system - it's garbage. [/gripe]

Enjoy the combi - they're great!

I assume it's a condensing boiler. Given that you are in an exposed area, come winter watch the condensate dont freeze up. If you have boiler problems, check that first hth. rolleyes.gif

you lost me round about 'condensing'mate . As it happens we live in a very exposed area. I think we'll be ok because my neighbour has had one for a while and he's happy with it.

should see a plastic pipe coming from bottom of boiler. It either runs into internal waste pipe system or goes outside to t'grid cool.gif

Constant hot water means more people can use the facilities
