Joe has agreed to sign for town next year, and with a new job he will be available a lot more than last year.another good addition as he can play anywhere in the pack, and looked impressive when he did play last year.

I was hoping he would sign - just the type of hardworking forward you need who won't let you down.

With him not being available so much last season I don't think we saw the best of Joe so hopefully under better circumstances we do get to see him realise his potential. Good signing.
I remember when .............................

While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

I was in communication with big dobson last week and he is coming to training next week to see if town would want him back.Peter as we all know has been in aussie for a year or so and has been trained by mark leafa ex haven player and according to peter he has been put through the hedges a couple of times but rates himself fitter and a better player than when he was last at town,i think peter would add considerable size to our pack and we would be daft to let him go elsewhere, but i think gary and martin would like him because of his size and if he says he is fitter and better than when we all seen him at town i think he will be a good asset to the squad. wink.gif wink.gif wink.gif

Dobbo had just hit his best form for us just before he went to Oz, so if he is stronger and better then lets get him signed on when he turns out next week.

if dobson does sign then i think we will bring 1 more player in then that would be us set.in my eyes that player would be the evergreen darren holt.with king and peds injured we need cover for matty.then when pedley returns move holt to half back.im slightly dissapointed we havent even offered him a contract as he himself has clearly stated he would like to return.come on bod give him a call.

All good news.

McKenna is in the Kyle White mould for me. He punched some big holes in the Blackpool defence last match of the season; they really struggled to stop him - an excellent signing.

I would like to see Dobbo make the grade and he is just a young lad. To change the subject, who do we have lined up to play stand off half? Probably the most important position on the field? Arnie.
