Certainly hope not. Much rather have mossop starting than him.

Not sure a good signing as seen as he is likely to be out atleast half the season and he missed large parts of the past 2 seasons at Fax! Great player but had many injuries. Good for Fax as he has cost a fair bit doing sadly nothing. I hope for Mark that his luck changes. If that happens Barrow have a good signing. Thanks Mark

young Mossop should lean alot from MG , Mossy is 1 for the future as well as the hear & now hopefully his progression will flouish under the new coach & players input.

Nathan is a class player and that's fair enough but to start the season with one recognised number nine would be sheer folly!!!
Who in all reality did you think would have been a better signing of the current number 9s available out there kid?
Not so long ago a signing of this stature, along with Thackery would have been a pipe dream for Barrow. Same with the Coaches, Schofield and Wright. Had Brian Noble got the job someone would have been on here saying "Why spend all that money on a coach?" "What has he won at Wigan and Crusaders?" Guaranteed.
I think its time some stopped and appreciated what we have got here and not keep trying to pick little holes in everything. Given the budgets, constraints and what we have to work with the Board, Club Staff and volunteers are doing a bloody marvellous job!

Now times are hard and money is tight, I doubt the club would spend alot of money on a player if he was to be out for half the season. I suspect he is alot closer to fitness than we expect.

I would think that if anyone on this forum knows Dave does (as he is on the Board of Directors) !!
I presume he's passed a medical 100% fit.
Superb signing. I can't believe there are posters who even slag this one off. UNBELIEVABLE !
