It's all subjective as to which team you follow. Obviously I'm biased towards East.
Highlights are here

Also on YOUTUBE

Both looked red to me, freeze your guy on 2.37 and he deffo sticks the left leg out, you can just make out the elbow from the Brow player, cant see any argument with either.

A lot of Yorkshiremen believe that when God created the world, he made it with perfect balance.
He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.

I thought the East's red looked a bit harsh to me as when the lad was tripped he fell into a tackle so I doubt he would have got over....then again a trips a trip and I suppose he had to go.

Heworth scrum half, 5 stone wet through and 4 tf 7in got annoyed with Kev Dickens for some reason and as both sides were lining up for the next play the ball he sneaked up behind Kev and gave him a smack at the back of the head, Kev just turned and laughed at him as did all 34 players and the ref, he got yellow carded and walked off knowing he had just made a right tool of himself

That was hilarious!! You could see the little scrote change his mind half way into his run-up, but he knew everyone had seen him set off, so he had to go for it. He hit Big Kev with the most half-arsed rabbit punch I've ever seen!!

QUOTE (terryg @ Nov 20 2010, 09:17 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
The East player (Steve Ormisher) was sent off for tripping, what actually happened was he was wrong footed and slipped on the heavy surface and the Brow player fell over his legs. The refs reasoning when questioned about the decission was that the Brow player would have scored, very much a doubt as three East players were in front of him as he went to ground. If he wasn't going to score it would have been 10mins. On a clay based slippy pitch like Brows a forward will go to ground if he gets turned quickly.
The Wath Brow player was sent off for raised elbow.
I have justed watched the video and it was a trip and i could not see the 3 east players in front off him I was also dissapointed with the way Easts played i would not have paid them after that display

It looks a definate trip in my eyes. You can argue over it being deliberate/instictive but he definately puts his leg out with the intention of halting the lads progress. Don't think you could say for certain that the lad would have scored or not but I think Ormisher's reaction gives him up. SOS in my eyes as there is no intention to injure the player.

On the other hand the lad from Brow looks like he goes in with some serious intent to do damage to the East player and is the sort of think that you could definately do with out. At 24-12 up with an extra man, what he was thinking is beyond me! The East lad is very lucky he never made a clean contact!

That is certainly not evidence of a trip. The body shape suggests he is falling over after being pushed.

The Photo in league Express is not of the same incident that the East’s player was sent of
for.
