No eccles or rochdale, anyone know why?
Also anyone know if the NCL are going to reschedule some fixtures?
Prem clubs have no fixtures 15th or 29th jan but do have on 19th feb when they are supposed to enter
Div one clubs have no fixtures 11th dec and 15th jan but do have on 29th when they are supposed to enter

It says in another topic that Eccles didn't enter due to the way the competition was run last year....not too sure what happened but I can remember they weren't too happy about something (maybe a fixture reversal)

Safe to say they won't be having free weekends!
Think we've done well so far regarding fixtures - think there are only five games in the backlog so far across the three divisions, but with the weather about to take a turn for the worse I doubt that'll be lasting too long.

oh yes i remember about eccles from last year now. it was when there was the bad weather, rules state that if a game is postponed twice you lose home advantage and the fixture is reversed to the away teams ground.
But as everyone will remember the full country was covered in snow so nearly all rugby games where postponed, it is not asif just eccles pitch was unfit which is what the rule is supposed to be for. the game would of been called off whoevers ground it was at and barla should of used common sense in the ruling.
Did i just say barla using common sense...... that would never happen!

Did Mayfield pick up a ban from the cup last season after they failed to Ince Rose Bridge?

Yeah, they were due to host Hunslet Old Boys but the fixture as you say was cancelled twice because of bad weather, and eccles refused to travel to Hunslet. So the Old Boys got a free bye to the next round and were due to play host to Maryport who then pulled out of the cup giving Old Boys another free passage to the next round!!!!

Saturday 11th December 2010 had been set aside by the National Conference League as a backlog date in respect of games in Division 1.
As there will be no involvement by NCL Division 1 clubs in either the Carnegie Challenge Cup or Ace Insurance BARLA National Challenge Cup – I have brought forward to that date (weather permitting) the entire block of games originally scheduled in the League programme listings earmarked for Saturday 2nd April 2011. All games - unless stated otherwise - kick off at 2pmwill be as follows:.
Ince Rose Bridge v Eccles
Milford Marlins v Rochdale Mayfield
Myton Warriors v Stanningley
Normanton Knights v Castleford Panthers – KO 2 30pm
Oulton Raiders v Stanley Rangers – KO 2 30pm
Widnes St Marie’s v Millom
