Preliminary Pitch inspection at 9am by club officials at THC, with a local ref on stand by to come and make a decision if it is looking doubtful.

If it would have been today I think it would have been off and I don't think the forecast is any better for tonight.

just heard all pitches are clear in Hull after a sunny day, anybody know why East Hull called of so early ?

A frozen field does not necessarily mean the game is off. If the field is flat (i.e. without rutts) then the game can be played. There is no difference to fields like this and fields in summer when sometimes they are like concrete.

Myton(hull) had a pitch inspection at 2-2:30pm today and pitch was absolutely fine.

Will have pitch inspection 9:15 in the morning with a local ref to make final decision before st annes set off.

big thaw in Hull today cannot understand how any matches can be called off so early.

sidall want to know by 10am so the match is off and the 3g is also frozen . it wasnt playable at 4pm tonight so from 8-10AM tomorrow wont make the slightest difference . the grounds man said it was -2 at a depth of 22mm and in some areas he could not get the probe in. ah well summer rugby here we come , thank god

I.R.B V OULTON pitch inspection at 10 am with local ref will take a minor mirical overnite for it to be on -2 in wigan now and pitch is solid and its forcast up to -4 so i would say no chance
