A couple of words that grate on him indoors, that obviously look the same but sounds like nails running down a blackboard to him

I wouldn't try... my accent is a bit confused after years of moving around the country and world. My southern mates think I sound northern, my mum thinks I sound like a soft southerner and when I met Mick at Twickers a few years ago he thought I sounded Scottish sad.gif

A few whiskies though and the Yorkshire twang comes through quite clearly biggrin.gif

Money can't buy happiness... but it can buy bacon which is close enough.
