Just wondering how your team copes with this spell of bad weather we seem to be getting this time of year, regarding getting in a decent training session? I know Leigh East have the 3G, but looking at an earlier post it's not worth a carrot in this weather.

OH YES IT IS , it may not be fit for a game but its superb for training , the aussie students trained on it yesterday , st helens , wigan , warrington all train on it in these conditions. it got a bit slippery on sat and sunday for matches to be played but training , no problem my friend all 20 of our teams will not miss a session this week or any week this winter

The Sports Barn at Ince Rose Bridge also means that we will not be missing a session due to the weather and due to it being under cover frost, snow, or rain is not an issue.

I've seen the sports barn at your place safety man, and its pretty decent. Heard a rumour Thatto are having one built, superb idea to keep training all year round. And to Mr C, was just saying mate that from the previous post i assumed it was untrainable in these conditions, but i stand corrected.

Myton had a 3G pitch booked for training but has been cancelled due to the weather, so maybe they all arent as good as the one at leigh.

got told from the groundsman that as long as we keep training on it the aussie game will go ahead, something about breaking the thin layer of ice on it will keep it fit

No offence meant there quadzilla, pure tongue in cheek!! the way this league is 3 or 4 decent wins, and results go your way, could be mid table in no time. Best of luck with it, cause you are a decent outfit from what ive seen, along with Pats.
