Barker would be a useful addition and can play various positions though not sure wheather he has enough pace for centre, as for Bravo id still go with my original suggestion as a better option.Lets be thankful that in Harding i beleive we have got the best prospect ive seen in many many years in a Hunslet shirt.

Can't comment on Harding as I haven't seem him play but looking forward to seeing him on the field with the reviews he's getting. Barker would be an ideal and logical replacement for me but bravo is a long way off the mark.

Macca,
thanks for your original response, haven't heard that one before
you want to see my caravan, worth more than your house without a doubt although suspect you own jack sh**.
Us 'pikey doylums' (whatever that means outside Hunslet) now have our caravans with built in floats........... caravans in Summer, houseboats when it floods, easy
ps can you explain where this York pikeys, gypos etc idea came from, although amusing and good banter I cannot understand where you get it from you inbred Leedsite!!.

josh, and who would you replace him with? There is only one other available centre in the championship that is on a par or better than Q,y and he wouldnt come cheap and is probably out of our reach plus hes lancashire based - id go with the amatuer option, anyone in the Hunslet area knows what the kid can do, his countless tries for the warriors prove that.Yes weve had him before when we were c r ap but playing alongside the present team he would be dynamite.
and i always thought you were a good judge of a Rugby player Steve. Can you remember how many simple tackles he missed even at reserve level. Theres two parts to a Rugby game - attack and defence - you cant play without the other! Even his positioning was dyer (very easy to beat on the outside). If he was that good wouldnt another club (i.e. Batley) have picked him up, or do they see what you dont want to see??

all im saying is give the kid a chance in this team, running off grimmers and marchys passes he would score a bucketload - in much the same way q,y has done for the last 2 seasons.People go about his defence , well q,y wasnt exactly the best tackler but so what, he could sniff a try from anywhere and so can cunny.People can cover for defence, having a real try scorer is like finding rockin horse s,hit.Im also pretty sure Batley wanted to sign him after his trial period last year but work commitments stopped him.
To clarify,im saying is, if we want a replacement centre then we have one on our own doorstep, i just wish we,d try to get him down one more time!

Sorry to see Wayne Mc go. Leading try scorer, leading points scorer BUT the club have had to take action.
Suggested replacements-- MC -GIVEN ENOUGH CHANCES IN THE FIRST TEAM BUT OUR PREVIOUS COACHES ALL SAID THE SAME --"To good for the reserve team BUT not good enough for the First team
Barker, and Bravo -- both not good enough when they played for us before.
Plenty of time for the rugby management team to find a replacement.

If were talking real quality then lets talk about the centre who ALWAYS plays well against us wheather he has a rochdale or a blackpool shirt on.
Lets also not forget Dave Clayton or John Oakes have not let anyone down and it wouldnt be the end of the world if either of them started there.

Would probably be the end of Hunslet Hawks in the championship though, they are both inadequate in any threequarter positions. Mayberry is a quality player but for the money is untried at championship level where as Barker is proven at a higher level and played centre for both Halifax and Fev, for me its a no brainer to not sign him.

York Press say he is not going to York. Is this the end for him and what did he do? Or am I asking a stupid question and he followed the same pattern as he did at Fev? All the best for next season.

Seen on the Oldham's board that their Centre Mick (the kicker) Fogerty has been released, due to being banned for 3 Month's for smoking cannabis. Maybe he's a possibility to look at, after his ban ends in mid January.

You right, he was a decent player, as far as I'm aware he couldn't commit to training due to work commitment's.
