Can't comment on Harding as I haven't seem him play but looking forward to seeing him on the field with the reviews he's getting. Barker would be an ideal and logical replacement for me but bravo is a long way off the mark.

Macca,
thanks for your original response, haven't heard that one before
you want to see my caravan, worth more than your house without a doubt although suspect you own jack sh**.
Us 'pikey doylums' (whatever that means outside Hunslet) now have our caravans with built in floats........... caravans in Summer, houseboats when it floods, easy
ps can you explain where this York pikeys, gypos etc idea came from, although amusing and good banter I cannot understand where you get it from you inbred Leedsite!!.

and i always thought you were a good judge of a Rugby player Steve. Can you remember how many simple tackles he missed even at reserve level. Theres two parts to a Rugby game - attack and defence - you cant play without the other! Even his positioning was dyer (very easy to beat on the outside). If he was that good wouldnt another club (i.e. Batley) have picked him up, or do they see what you dont want to see??

To clarify,im saying is, if we want a replacement centre then we have one on our own doorstep, i just wish we,d try to get him down one more time!

Suggested replacements-- MC -GIVEN ENOUGH CHANCES IN THE FIRST TEAM BUT OUR PREVIOUS COACHES ALL SAID THE SAME --"To good for the reserve team BUT not good enough for the First team
Barker, and Bravo -- both not good enough when they played for us before.
Plenty of time for the rugby management team to find a replacement.

Lets also not forget Dave Clayton or John Oakes have not let anyone down and it wouldnt be the end of the world if either of them started there.

Would probably be the end of Hunslet Hawks in the championship though, they are both inadequate in any threequarter positions. Mayberry is a quality player but for the money is untried at championship level where as Barker is proven at a higher level and played centre for both Halifax and Fev, for me its a no brainer to not sign him.

York Press say he is not going to York. Is this the end for him and what did he do? Or am I asking a stupid question and he followed the same pattern as he did at Fev? All the best for next season.

You right, he was a decent player, as far as I'm aware he couldn't commit to training due to work commitment's.
