I've just cleared down on a phone call from Malcolm one the Blackpool fans who've joined us on the walk for the last year or two, and..................
Thirteen of 'em had a meeting today, and as they've got no team to support next season, they're coming to watch The Lions!
They're even talking about running a coach to away games as well!
How about that?
Spelly.

"--- and then on the eighth day, God created Rugby League."
Daily, my intense dislike of the Pinks, Rugby Yawnion, Manchester United, and far-right politics, grows ever larger, and will continue to do so forever more!
Question! What's the connection between Rugby League and Rugby Yawnion? Answer! There isn't one!
My girl-friend said to me "If you had to choose between me and Swinton who would it be?" I replied "You know the answer to that one without even asking!"

Lets hope that some of the Lions dormant fans do the same !.
Those guy's are proper fans and have gone through all the changes that their team has had throughout the years all the way back to Trafford and Chorley days.
Well done guys and welcome

These guys have taken more kicks in the guts than Roy Keane's dog!
Credit to them - they should get a big banner with some "strategic communications" on it and make sure their club doesn't just disappear from view. Perhaps target a few of the Thursday night games and put a banner up opposite the cameras.

Rugby League - great game, shame about the administration.

That is awesome news and one that genuinely made me smile. I wish the RFL could be bothered to look at things like this and then, perhaps, they might re-evaluate their stance on funding within the game! EAT EM LIONS!
I hope they dont look at things like that, Otherwise they would put pressure on all the smaller teams around the expansion areas in hope they fold and go to the Bigger clubs, Slowly culling the games further.

So its ok to help teams in London and Wales, but let Blackpool go bump?

Good view from the stand behind the sticks though and I'm sure you could consider the variety club fire escape to be a balcony, at a push?!
