It is embarrassing that the game at Leigh East isn't being played after their recent success in staging games over the last few days. How have East Hull got away with demanding an early assessment when the weather this side of the Pennines has been improving since Wednesday? It stinks. mad.gif

I would have thought it was within the rules ref or they would have been turned down, and if it suited them to request an early inspection, what have they done what any club wouldn't have?

Thanks - but think I'll be taking in St Pats v Thatto Heath, I'd never get away with a trip over to Yorkshire with two dragons in the house!

You never get over full stop

A lot of Yorkshiremen believe that when God created the world, he made it with perfect balance.
He balanced the hot areas with the cold areas. the dry areas with the wet areas.
And, in creating Yorkshire, he created the most glorious place on earth - full of majestic beauty and sporting giants.........and for balance he created....... Lancashire.

That's not East Hulls fault, think first then point the blame at the right people.

I'm very sorry maxwell, it read as though you were suggesting that East Hull had opened the door for everyone else, and not the powers that be. Maybe it's me that should think first eh? cool.gif

Its not a bad thing to know by Friday , then some lads may have the chance to get a few hours overtime on a Saturday morning .
It wasn't me, a big boy did it and ran away!!

thats exactly why they wanted to know , but they asked for a 5pm decision then changed it to 12pm and that 5 hours could have been the difference, anyway i have asked leigh miners for a 12pm friday decision due to our coach company wanting to charge a £50 cancellation fee for this saturdays derby game biggrin.gif biggrin.gif wink.gif

We have played this fixture on a thursday the last couple of seasons, to be honest though it's not done to beat the weather, many of the lads have christmas works do's on the friday and saturday, if we can get the game played on the thursday the lads can enjoy their festive celebrations. biggrin.gif
