I notice Rochdale are bidding to host a world cup game at Spotland.

The Mount is one of the best grounds outside super league, and possibly as good as a few in there - anyone know if we are going to bid to host a game?

Would be a tremendous boost for the town and the club.

What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law

It's a good playing surface but I don't believe that it's good enough for a World Cup game. The main drawback will be the shortage of seated accomodation. Spotland is in fact much better in this regard, as are many others.

By the way, which SL grounds are only as good as the Mount (seriously)?

Believe what you see, don't see what you believe.

Belle Vue immediately stands out!
