Didn't he play a few games for Saints a few years back? I thought he was pretty good then ,he must've gone back a bit though, still we're not overblessed with wingers.

Very big lad and a good player, I think it's a bit unfair to say he's gone backwards. He was working away when he was playing for Whitehaven, but looked good on the occasion he played.
I know he's been playing for Cockermouth this season, and personally, I would say he is a very good signing, provided he is still living round here and can fully commit himself to training

That was John Kirkpatrick who played for Saints!! Good signing out and out centre and Stephen Dawes is also a Town player again!

jp is a quality centre,probably the best we have if true.works for a workington company now so will always be available.dont know where anyone got he was a winger from,hes definately a centre.

There's a post on the Haven site saying that Charlo was meeting with Gary Broadbent tonight with a view to signing for Town!!!!
