What's going on?

He's not turned up for training - given leave to see to family matters. Eels fed up with him.
...he's not going to Knights
...could be Roosters probably not

sacked at eels or staying for less pay?

It looks like he has gone Walkabout to suck on a goonie of Royal reserve while down the creek catching Yabbies.

There must be something about Parramatta. Jamie Lyon went AWOL from the place a few years back. Very strange.

You hit the nail on the head mate

Parramatta in summer is a stinking hot outback dunny and in winter is freezing farking cold...I know i lived 3 miles from Parramatta for the past 15 years until 6 months ago. Now i live up the coast a bit with a ripper of cool sea breeze blowing most of the time, about 3 miles from where the Central Coast (North Sydney) Bears will be playing if they get back into the NRL.
