We need a linebreaker...To continue the Tamgahart,Kerr sucession.....If the speculation is true regarding POC ( And I hope its not!) how do you fill that gap, I just love watching him run the ball! And what has Matty Ashe done that was so bad that he`s got released? Or Hoddy for that matter? Any plausible explanations forthcoming?
I will miss seeing Wayne on the charge...Thank You Big Man!

Ashe is a neat and tidy player but he won't win you the league. He would be excellent in the squad but with the way our half backs are looking if he signed he would be the first choice scrum half.

If we have serious aims of competing for the league we need to be looking at the likes of Hemingway as we are also desperate for a goal kicker.

he's a squad player at best and definitely not a first choice half back.

as for hemingway, i cant see why he's the answer.
ive seen a fair bit of him at leigh and blackpool.
he wasnt a creative 6 nor a 6 who attacks the line and puts defences on the back foot, he has a good kicking game and thats it. Ratty is tons better than him.

I think a nippy little scrum half would work well with ratty to give him space.
Finding one is the problem.
