I don't think so. I suggested that idea to the bar manager earlier this year but he didn't think it was a good idea!

Is that because you'll never buy more than one pint when you go to the bar?

Remember the bar shuts at half time. So if you want a couple of pints in the second half a two pint pot keeps one of your hands free. Whats ridiculous about that?

You're the muppet who thinks John Smiths is a decent pint, you also support York so your opinion doesn't count
John Smiths shouldn't be served at all, it should be poured straight down the carsey

I think it's a brilliant idea. I believe they do 1 1/2 pints at the K.C. so that could be a comproise for GFDU.
Also, why does the bar shut just after half time ?

Alternatively our bar manager could ring the bar manager at Warrington or Hull and ask them what they think.
If it could make some more money at no extra cost and other clubs are doing it, then it should be worth at least a phone call.

I saw a sign in a real ale house it read,"If the bottom has fallen out of your world drink John Smiths, then you will think the world has fallen out of your bottom"

I rush to the defence of John Smith's Ale.
As someone who was banished to darkest Lancashire for a few years, and who had to try to quaff stuff like Greenall's and Walker's (latter sold as Tetley's but brewed in Warrington and tasted nowt like it), the presence of the odd John Smith's house, hither and thither, helped to preserve a modicum of sanity. Might not have been the nectar of the gods, but you could keep it down with a little perserverance.
And then you'd call at the chippy on the way home, and be asked if you wanted gravy on your fish and chips (admittedly, you needed something to give a bit of flavour).
You folk living in G.O.C. are spoilt!
