Elland 22 - 12 East Leeds
The match was held up for about 45 minutes after a bad injury to an East Leeds lad, looked like a broken leg, any one from East Leeds know how the lad is?

Not sure who the official man of the match was but for mine its not often watching a game a lad scores 4 tries and come away thinking some one else was man of the match! Thought Thatto's stand off (Andrew Scott?) was outstanding, especially in the first half.

Some pictures from the match here.

The lad is Declan Wray, i am going over to see him in Huddersfield Hospital tomorrow. He has broke his fibula and tibula and he is in pot for now waiting for his op on tuesday. Will post more when i have been to see him.

Daz Woods got the official MOM for Heath and Pats full back got their's - Birkett?

Andrew Stott is the THC Stand Off, he had a decent game. For me our MOM was one of the pack. Our speccies throw a quid each in and pick their MOM it's usually a more accurate reflection of the best player and that went to our number 8 - Mick Ledger, who just edge our young second rower Alex Trumper (#11).

Fair enough, I guess 4 tries always puts you in with a shout.

I have been impressed with your pack on both occasions I've seen you this season they certainly laid the foundations, just thought your stand off, especially in the first half when he seemed to have a hand in just about everything that went right for your lads.

Was a cracking game - especially considering the conditions.

had a ride over to pats, as not many other fixtures to choose from. was impressed with both sides, tough uncompromising fixture with both sides giving it there all. was always going to be a difficult tie with 2 weeks off for both sides and difficult playing conditions. was impressed with both sets of forwards, both sets really got stuck in. pats 13 probably a little too excited at times and gave away about 4 penalties for high shots, all probably correct decisions, this was probably a big factor in thattos result as the ref finally lost patience and gave him a yellow.

dont think pats will go down after their performance, they werent that far off!

Pennine league website has it down as Monday 27th December at Featherstone Rovers RLFC.

EDIT: This may be conditional on the Queens/Crigglestone semi final surviving the weather this Saturday.
