Why on earth would any side want to disband one of its teams?

So they can scrap for places or move to other clubs, give your head a shake Mr Pringle

Refering to an earlier post he/she stated that they struggle for numbers for the 2nd and 3rd team if they are not allowed to use fringe first teamers.

If they are struggling for numbers then the common sense approach would be to disband one team (i.e. the 3rd team) and keep the NCL and Pennine League 'A' and make them stronger.

What would you propose? Keep the 'B' team and turn out short every week? How does that help a team if they are getting hammered? If Siddal use their 'B' team to develop the U18 players then this approach would not benefit them

it is nothing to do with that ruling as to why they are moving. as stated earlier it is to do with a queens a v siddal b game. a brawl started by one of the queens lads. there coach then entered the field and started throwing punches siddal had a man kicked in the head and the game was abbandoned after 66 minutes siddal were up by 8 i believe and at the hearing siddal were fined more and siddal got the heftier bans all because siddal were playing queens and they are scared do do anything about these thugs. also the game itself has to be replayed even tho there was only 14 minutes left its bull####. thats why siddal have applied for the NWC league nothing to do with queens just the league comitee itself is full of spineless pri##.

Bank Quay Bulls and Queens played against each other a couple of years ago and it was a fine match. No thuggery whatsoever just good football. Bank Quay are a very good side and all the NCL sides with need to bear (not bare) that in mind if drawn in the National cup
