Anyone got any views on ellands start 2 the season 6 wins 1 draw,6 defeats,not a bad start !!!

I'm pleased for them that they are holding their own and probably doing a little bit better than I expected. They are a club with a great history and I am not knocking them when I say that they are not the power that they once were.

Junaid Malik has pulled them out of the erm...mire a couple of times this season, and he won't be around forever. A good team to have in the NCL though IMO, produce plenty of players, and the young lads they have got look quite good. They have a young second rower, a tall lad with blonde hair. He really impressed me. Very agressive and looves taking the ball up.

Stanley Gene Malik is having is best season for a few years now he's switched to centre, the lad your on about is Caycie Pearson and he's been outstanding so far this season and he also kicks conversions and penalties for fun, every player that played on saturday have come all the way through the Elland Juniors so things looking OK at the moment...

Looking at the draw for the challenge cup, I see that they have drawn Thatto Heath at home, always nice to get a home tie, but how do we think they will fair against the team currently leading the NCL PREM ?
