ITV programme last night was quite good, much of it is a rehash of other stuff but well produced and neatly done. Guardian review
ITV Player linky for those who missed it.
Copied from someone else I know who watched it:
In World War 1, 10% of the casualties were civilians
In World War 2, 50% of the casualties were civilians
In the Vietnam war, 70% of the casualties were civilians
In the Iraq war. 90% of the casualties were civilians
The war you don't see

I watched parts of it ,but I got the message when I switched back on and i heard a recorded conversation between Nixon and Kissinger, Nixon actually was in favour of using nuclear weapons , I suppose it must have been veitnam Kissinger was against it straight away and Nixon said something like"you got a problem with nuking them Henry? why?" scary !!
but you and I weve been through that and this is not our fate.
So let us so let us not talk falsely now.
