The Dutch do similar and I believe show gay men kissing.
The Dutch and Danes have far tougher border patrols than the rest of Europe though given some of the trouble there it makes sense. Also somewhat ironically the MORE liberal a country the harder immigrants seem to find it to integrate as it's more different to their culture. Sweden is absolutely hopelessly segregated for example to the point many immigrants voted for the Swedish Democrats who want to assimilate all immigrants as Swedes.
We've actually done the best job in Europe at integrating immigrants IMO though obviously there's a few problems up north and in Luton
