We've bought our kit from Ram for the last 2 seasons and not been over-happy with them.

Just wondered if anybody had any good or bad feedback about other suppliers as will need to start shopping around soon for the new season.

Bulldog Sports in Leeds, we have been everywhere and they have always produced the best standard kits, it takes them between 2 to 4 weeks to make and deliver and they have the technology to make what ever you want. 01132425307 ask for Vaughan

Can reccommend both O'Neills and Raging Bull.

The norwegian team in 2009 used madeforrugby (kooga). The guy in charge was named Ken. DO NOT EVER UNDER ANY CURCUMSTANSES USE THIS THIEF. Not only did the national kit not arrive in time for the 1 off match they were purchased for (they were ordered 5 months before the match), but when they finally arrived they were the wrong f"#¤%ing colour. I didnt know Norway had ORANGE in its flag but that's what showed up. We bought 22 kits and 22 polos with our logo on them. When we opened the box to a wrong coloured kit we also noted they had no logo on them. To think that was enough to ###### me off he then only packed 18 kits. When i tried to call him about it he wouldnt pick up the phone and it is now 1 and a half years later and he has never once replied to my 100 emails. Talk about f#¤%&ing up an order. This theiving bastard didnt even get anything right and to top it all off when my creditcard bill came the ###### had taken 100GBP extra than what we were qouted, needless to say we never heard back from our emails asking why this was done. To sum it up, Ken from madeforrugby is an utter criminal and we warn any rugby league clubs to dealing with him. Let him rip off union clubs..........they can probably afford it!

I would honestly suggest Canterbury. Great product, well respected (known) brand, very professional looking, great range of equipment to go along with it such as polos tracksuits etc, and also, it matches remarkably well with generic t-shirts etc. Also players tens to like the stuff, so are more likely to buy it to wear - therefore furthering the club 'brand' as well as bringing in a few quid.

Canterbury teamwear is widely available from a number of suppliers. I can find u one if you have difficulty.

I would definitely discourage using Canterbury. They've been one of the worst firms we've dealt with. Everything we ordered was either massively late, or they got the order significantly wrong, or both. They were a nightmare to deal with.

I would recommend using a smaller firm where you can actually speak to somebody who gives a toss about you. From our experience, most of the bigger firms promise the earth in terms of discounts and kit deals etc, but if there are any problems they soon become difficult to deal with. Ultimately keeping a community club happy is pretty low on their list of priorities.

We have used raging bull for the last three seasons and found them to be excellent. The kit also washes great which was a worry as its mainly white.

3 kits in 3 years , they should look brand new, we still play the odd game in kits supplied by Bulldog that are 6 years-old.

Our Bulldog kits have done a couple of (summer) seasons and are still in perfect shape. We had to buy a new one last year to support new sponsors otherwise we'd be using all of them sagain in 2011. The sizes were a bit odd but the quality and design is great. However if you're looking for someone who is well organised, Vaughan ain't the man!

We have also used Kukri and they are good quality too. They have had a bad reputation for delivery but all our kits came almost to the day they were promised.

Head and Shoulders above any other brand for me is Samurai.
Had meetings with a few reps a couple of years ago (Kooga, ISC, Canterbury and Kukri) and the guy I dealt with was the only one who didnt try to push their products.
The guys name was Stephen Nutt (responsible for the North, the guy who sorted out the deals with Dewsbury, Barrow and Batley) and he asked us what exactly we wanted.
He said the Samurai way is to agree to whatever the customer wants and find a way to deliver it.
This I was rather sceptical of at first but he was true to his word. That kit has lasted 3 years now and is still in perfect condition. The best quality weve ever had, not one has ripped or anything.

Sponsorship has changed twice and then a new logo hence the new kits - however the original kit has had least two summer seasons worth of games and still looks great.

Will give Kooga a very wide berth. Have had a look at Raging Bull and spoken to them and like their designs and service so far, but we will also speak to a couple of the others before coming to a decision.

I've dealt with a number of different suppliers over the years but the best I've come across so far are Akuma.

They're probably a tad more expensive than some of the others as they manufacture locally but this allows them to get the gear out to you within two weeks.

The quality is very good and their design team is outstanding. Whatever idea you may have - however outlandish - they will deliver on. Really nice people to deal with too.

Akuma is who the ravens are dealing with this season .. another supplier which looks good is x-blades which is based in Batley and owned by batley player Gareth Moores dad who has supplied the Bulldogs and Halifax with kits for the coming season and kits are made locally so short turn around of time .Samurai can't complain as they served the Ravens well over the last 3 seasons and kits still look good .

we have always stuck with stag as most clubs have in past and would always recommend .we have now just got one from ravensposrt but the recent weather means we havent worn yet so il reserve judgement

From my experince Akuma promised much but failed to deliver. The after sales service was appalling. If your looking for a one sevens kit etc they are ok or not wanting to have a line of kit eg hoodies etc which you want to run over a few season.... they were rubbish. They used to a south african factory and it took ages...

They manufacture in Dewsbury now and have been spot on when I've used them

stag are the best imo. i always say if there was a nuclear war the two things left around will be cockroaches and stag kits!
