Yes they did come over to the Knights, but we still did'nt win anything, get a grip and move on, lets see what this season brings because the Knights were labeled as alsorans and we still won promotion. pjm

KOL,
what don't we like about having a better squad than you this season?
As for any Knights fans moaning about the the exodus to the Hawks ? I cannot remember too many moans from any of us regular posters on here, for whatever reason that group of players simply couldn't or wouldn't do it in a Knights shirt, fair play they took you up last season and played some very good stuff.

andy, id take esders and thorman and i rate stearman and lineham , bell ive really not seen too much of but we all know he,s track record. I still think we,ll both stop up and dewsbury to finish bottom and our friends from batley to make it a heavy wollen double if toulouse are exempt.

I am the first to admit that Batley arent blessed with thousands of fans but will we have a bigger away following than the Hunslet home contingent when we visit your lovely rented olympic stand this season?

Going back to topic, hunslet hate york because they're jealous of york. York fans don't hate hunslet, they are just amused by them, like a king is amused by a little jester.

It` going to be a long tough season, at least you will get some reasonable gate receipts when we come to your place

Why would the current Champions be jealous of York?

You really don't need to point out to any Batley fan that we are a small club with relatively poor support. We're not deluded. The definition of a deluded fan is one who believes a club that plays out of a rented, barren, one-stand athletics stadium, has poor support and has played in bottom league of the pro game for a decade, is a big fish.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?
