Colin Montgomery as coach of the year??? What a load of trollop!
With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

the last time I watched tennis, Fred Perry was neither sitting, drinking or smoking. He had enough on his plate holding his racket and balls whilst knitting those iconic jerseys. biggrin.gif

Apart from rowing, then, what did the Romans ever do for us?

I see Ian Poulter has kept up Golf's reputation as the pastime of choice for bad losers.

Mario Cipollini did!

I can find a picture of him smoking during a race and if he ever made it to Paris in the TdeF i'm sure he'd have been drinking!

That rules out Rugby League, then - Puig-Aubert used to cadge tabs off the crowd during matches.
