Evening Mail report says he is now Hulls Scout in Cumbria. - Pity he wasn't scouting to keep South Cumbria Youngsters playing in South Cumbria

Why not? Not like Barrow has even a half decent youth structure? Do they even have one now? At least Cumbrian talent is getting picked up by someone!

It's a bit of a vicious circle. Let's be honest, I don't think that Barrow RL setting-up a successful youth structure is helped by local coaches encouraging youngsters to sign for other clubs ! All it does is make things much harder for the likes of Dean Marwood and others trying hard to set something up for the long-term at Barrow RL. OK, the best talent will always prefer to go to a SL club to further their development, but a few have gone to other Championship clubs.

I don't know what the answer is - all I know is that it's the Barrow fans that will suffer in the long term (and possibly the young local players that are being actively disuaded from having anything to do with Barrow RL).

i would no doubt think that nearly 100 percent of the supporters wish this as well but its water under the bridge now and time to move on even though it would be spot on if cresta and dean marwood could help produce a scholarship down at craven park.
