Reading Batley & Featherstone forums looks like sundays game is doubtful , any news from Dewsbury fans?
Do I risk driving to Yorkshire on sunday lunch time ?

It better be - I'm working an extra shift over the Christmas period just to go to this game and I can't go if it's postponed. Plus it will get a much bigger crowd on Boxing Day than later on and both clubs need the money.
One reason to be optimistic is that last year's game was on despite six inches of snow on the field - although it is at Mount Unpleasant
Anyone remember the Dewsbury v Huddersfield Boxing Day game against Huddersfield at Crown Flatt in the truncated 1995 season? It turned out to be the only sporting fixture on that incredibly frosty day and the only one we won that season (thanks to a try from Jaco Booysens' mammoth kick). The club claimed some revolutionary new chemical was used to make the pitch playable - although walking across it at full time it felt like concrete.
Come on B*tley, you can do it too!

Hope its on. Me thinks we could give our young pups a real festive hangover.Which could easily be repeated in the league games.
