RFL are once and for all off the xmas card list,
oh and i once had a soft spot for Fethearstone!

Looks like the local boozers will do a rip roaring trade and the 'xmas sales' will have a few disgruntled heavy woolen rugby fans with frowns and empty wallets!

It is the coldest winter for a least 15 years. The covers would not have made any difference especially with the temperatures over the last week. All the club can do is hope for a rise in temperature next week and make sure unlike Sheffield Wednesday(http://www.swfc.co.uk/page/News/0,,10304~2250407,00.html) no water pipes etc ...have frozen up with the freezing weather.

Still have a soft spot for Batley. All SL games off due to frozen pitches! Puts things in perspective doesn't it? Look to the BIG BOYS in RL management not us. If there only one set of covers around it is a poor state of affairs and we were asked to store the covers by the RL anyway.
Let's not spoil our good relations due to HQ incompetence.
