Pleasing to see how the Dogs' coaching staff developed the raw talent of McGillvary whilst on loan, and his acknowledgement of that. He's credited his time at Batley with helping him achieve a new contract with the Giants until 2013.

An awesome player or rather 'finisher' at out level but at Super league heights he will always be a 4th/5th choice winger?!

McGilvray is top quality. Bags of pace and power, and certainly not just a finisher. Nearly all of the tries he scored for us stemmed from different areas of the pitch, which shows what a danger to defences he is. I'd say he was THE most promising British winger in Super League. Well done to him on this new contract - its nice to think we played a part in his success and progression, although allegedly his spell with us ended on a slightly sour note.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

if we all agreed the world would be an absurd place.

players farmed out by SL big wigs via a dual reg have it but aren't the finished article, Jermaine is a class act, but whether he will up his game to cement a regular first team place is any bodys guess.

The giants have some very capable wingers
