On 13/2/2013, Hull City's owners the Allams, released a statement in their position as the owners of the KC Stadium Management Committee. One line in this statement read as follows....
"The SMC's principal responsibility is to remain neutral"

Me too. I don't think it was too old fashioned people have to expect it. That's what it was going for. It was just a bit too awkward. I like some of the repeats of Two Ronnies, except the dreary music scores. This wasn't written nearly as well.
Corbett is still a very decent comic actor though and always a likeable face on TV so I didn't exactly protest about it being on. It was something for the older amongst us, which is fine. TV seems to be obsessed with yoof these days, there are plenty out there who don't care for shock comedy.
Thought The Royle Family was a great episode after several lacklustre offerings so that was my pick, Christmas TV was a bit weak in general this year but every so often it is. I remember Men Behaving Badly being the big Christmas show one year.

Didn't see any of the tv show to be honest. Somebody sent me that sketch in an email. Thought it was comparable to a Ronnie Barker sketch. Not overkeen on Corbett usually.
