Dont know if anyone knows but Sean was knocked over by a car last Wednesday night and is very poorly in Hospital, at one time they thought he may lose his leg, just like to wish Sean and his family all the best.

Just like to pass on my best to Shaun, he was a decent centre in his days at the club, never ever let us down.
Here's hoping he soon make a swift recovery.

...also watched him a bit in his days at Donny playing with Paddy Handley for Singe.
Pretty sure he's been playing for Selby RU for a season or two.
Tragic for something like that to happen to anyone but for someone as passionate about his rugby as Sean, it's doubly so.

yeh like to pass on my best aswell , played with him briefly at selby warriors , see him at DW gym in Selby always say hello , we share a few mutual friends , so all the best shaun an hope to see you back in the gym sometime pal

Its in the Press today that Sean has lost his leg, poor lad I would like to wish him well for the future.

Any chance we can maybe do a collection of some sort for Shaun at a Knights game??
Think it would be a nice gesture.

tragic news , shaun was a talented player. hope his former clubs could assist him somehow.

An unfortunate hat-trick of ex-York players have now lost a leg in a vehicle related accident, Tawera Nikau, Paul Atkins and now Shaun. One of my favourite ever York centres, him and Deakin were outstanding for us when they played together, a superb centre-wing partnership that IIRC got over 40 trys in one season. Followed his Union career at Selby through a mutual friend as well, all the best Shaun and get well soon.
