It says on the Fev forum that in their accounts for 2009 they lost nearly £80k and are relying on their creditors bearing with them.
Also says that Sheffield lost £30k and their liabilities are double their assets.
So perhaps our position wasn't as bad as some would make it out.

loosing the grand final and the 100k can't have helped either. What would they get as runners up?

What's not in those accounts is the 130k we got for Zak!

Exactly Robin or even the fact that they are last years accounts, so would not show either the 30K from the Grand Final Or the Zak Money or for that matter the increased merchandise figures due to our success and final appearance.
I would say for a business or our size and with the assets we have (land) and the playing structure we have were not doing too badly. I would also hazard a guess that some of the creditors are Directors who are in no rush to to get their loans back.

So you must be in the same boat as us, the RFL, refusing to give out the players` registrations. What a bind!!!

Err both these sets of accounts are over a year old, so will have little to do with the present or your present situation. If Fev and Sheff do still have any debt I would hazzard a guess that they are directors loans, where as with Batley its with the Taxman and that would seem to be the issue the RFL have, rightly or wrongly.
