Nice to see that former Workington Town player and director has been awarded the OBE. He has received the award for his action and work in keeping young people away from drugs.
Dave has given a great many talks to school children in this area as part of the Touchdown/Service Area programme. His talk is extremely moving and involves the drug addiction and ultimate death of one of his sons. The talks have always been well received by the schools.
