York City Knights Head Coach Dave Woods has stuck with his original squad for Mondays match against the York Select in the Lee McTigue Memorial Game. Grand Final heroes Jack Stearman, Mike Mitchell, Lee Waterman and Steve Lewis start, while there are also debuts for Tom Bush, Dave Sutton, Mark Barlow and Matt Garside. Exciting young trio Ash Winstanley, Tom Holmes and Kristian Brining, who were promoted from the Knights Under 16's scholarship are also included. For the Select Head Coach Darren Callaghan is finalising his squad over the weekend but it is expected to name largely the same squad as was named initially, with former Knights Jonny Liddell, Mike Embleton and Leigh Rientoul likely to lead the team. Exciting New Earswick All Blacks duo Joe Hemmings and Ben Dent are also included.

Profits from the match will be shared between York City Knights Foundation and St Leonards Hospice and volunteers from St Leonards will also be holding a bucket collection to raise money for the charity

Entry to the game is £13 for Adults, £10 Concessions (over 65's & students) and £5 for U16's plus a £2 transfer to seating and turnstiles open at 1:30pm. Supporters with tickets can access the ground via the information point in main reception from 12:30pm. Please note that season tickets do not count for this match.
