Just hoping tomorrows games on. Been out with dog and it's frozen solid over the course of today and what with the temp tonight dropping down to -6 in York I've got a nasty feeling it could be off.
Fingers crossed it ain't that bad as it seems ages since the grand final win and I'm sure we are all looking forward to watching a game of RL and seeing what the new lads have to offer.

Just seen the weather forecast on t.v. and they reckon IF there are many breaks in the cloud cover tonight it will get down to -3 with a max. tomorrow of 1 deg.c. Let's hope we keep the cloud cover then.
We were out walking around Bishpthorpe and the Knavesmire this afternoon and it definitely took a stud in that area, in fact there was a soccer match taking place on the Mire. I know The Knights don't play on the Knavesmire and that soccer is a bit different to R.L. but it's more than has been happening over the last few weeks and I'm just trying to be positive and looking on the bright side. I wouldn't like to think people start already assuming the game is going to be off and making alternative arrangements when there's still a good chance it will be played.

It will be played.
Surely the club will not allow it to be called off twice.

Ok players safety is obviously most important.
what crowd is expected for this if it goes ahead and does anyone know what time the pitch inspection will take place?

3,000 mate heard the select are bringing loads to this annual fixture.
Pitch inspection is taking place at 7.00am so the select can travel from Acomb to Huntington in time.
