Just watched it, so that you do not have to.
A superb and very, very dark, teen-chick-lit film. Rather too disturbing for anyone who can not stand to see young women suffer. Still, superbly done, if self-absorbed and silly (teen-chick-lit).
PS Mrs 8 agrees.

I think I had a worse time that Mrs 8. It is a story a neurotic young woman suffering horribly. which I struggled with.

I'm fully expecting to have a worse time than Mrs. Schnib, for the reasons you mentioned, and also because Mrs. Schnib was a pretty high-level ballet dancer in her youth, and so I'm bound to be continually nudged and told "that's wrong".
Mind you - I've seen reports that it's actually pretty bang on the money in a technical sense, so maybe not.
